Hi there! I am so glad you stopped by to get to know me! My beautiful and talented friend, Michelle Pritchow flew out from Seattle to do our family photoshoot and we ended up with this adorable photo of our family.....4 girls....right....poor daddy! It takes a special guy to have 4 little girls and he is the best daddy ever! So this is me and well, they all keep me quite busy!
My middle child adds the spunk to the family! She is full of herself!
I absolutely love being a mama, but it is by far the hardest job I've ever had. No college degree could've prepared me for parenthood. Oh the laughs, the cries, the weary nights….but its all so worth it!
Speaking of degrees, (wait for it, nothing related to photography…) yes, I do have my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, graduating from Montana State University in beautiful Bozeman Montana. Born and raised in Montana, not moving far from home (Helena), I truly fell in love with this amazing town and its people, so I stayed (we moved away for about 15 months to North Carolina…the beaches were amazing, but the mountains and Montana's people have my heart!).
More about me if your still reading...
*Heath & fitness is something very important to me and my family! I love to hike, bike, trail run, lift weights and be active. I used to ski and ride horses, but time doesn't always allow for that now. Another one of my passions is helping people with their health & fitness goals. Check out my transformation challenge and maybe I can help you! You may be asking how do you keep up! Well, pursing my own health & fitness goals, I came across something that has truly changed my life and gave me the energy to keep up with all I have on my plate! If your interested in learning more fill out the contact form and I would love to share!
*My passion for photography started young, wanting to preserve memories to cherish forever. It grew into a full blown obsession once I had my first child. Prior to this, I actually assisted my husband with a couple weddings when he shot film photography. I essentially took over his first pro camera. The rest is history.
*I grew up horseback, spent almost everyday riding. I started showing in 4-H when I was 9 and then rodeoed in high school. My horses were my life and my outlet. My first horse was a shetlon pony at 5 years of age. That pony & I had a love hate relationship that ended with me in the ER with my first set of stitches! I also went on to earn the title of Miss Last Chance Stampede (Helena, MT-1996), First Runner-up Miss Livingston Round-up (1998), Miss Rodeo Montana 1999 & Miss Rodeo America Contestant 1999. It was an honor to represent my state and the sport of rodeo for a full year serving as an ambassador.
*I love to learn and never want to be a closed book.
*I love meeting new people and hearing their history, their stories, if I ask you 20 questions I just love to get to know people below the surface.
*I love the color turquoise!
