Volunteering at my daughter's school is one of my biggest delights! I love seeing her in her environment, with her classmates and the interaction with friends. This week her class visited a local dairy farm for their field trip.. It was a bit cold, rainy and well stinky. The kids were so funny holding their nose around all the wet manure! We had to wrap bags around their feet so they wouldn't get full of mud and manure while we tromped around the farm. The kids got a chance to feed to new baby calves some warm milk. My sweet girl really thought it was cool. She is such an animal lover. Being raised around farm animals, I was in heaven photographing these baby calves and the interactions with the kids. This little guy was my favorite! Normally dairy cows are black and white, but this little guy was a pretty red sorrel and white. I could've totally taken him home! This was the group of kids I was in charge of, they were so fun! Our next stop was Wagner Nursery where the kids learned about plants, trees, shrubs and beautiful flowers! The flowers were so beautiful and amazing hanging baskets abounded ready to be hung on someone's front porch! She was loving smelling all the different varieties of flowers! I am so grateful to have spent the day with her on her field trip day and capture a part of her school activities!

Plan ahead for Father's Day this year! Give Dad some amazing images to cherish forever! Book your session by June 8th and save $100 off a mini session (regular mini sessions are $175). You can use these sessions for Dad to be involved or pictures of just the kids for dad or pictures of mom and kids for Dad! You choose! Just let me know what your thinking and lets plan something fun together! I hope to see you behind my lens for these great mini sessions!
What a sweet mama and her baby boy! This little guy is the apple of mama's eye and he was so good for this adorable Mother's Day shoot his mom planned for him! I absolutely love the images we captured for them both! Thank you Lacy for choosing me to capture this special first Mother's Day for you!
I love where photography takes me.....back to where I attended MSU! I had the honor of capturing this college graduate's last day on campus before he was off to Texas to embark on his next chapter! I had so much fun meeting Scott and his mom! It was a great visit and an amazingly beautiful day. I swear the campus has grown more beautiful since I've been up there. Of course I was a bit jealous of all the new facilities that the students have now. There are some amazing new buildings! Congratulations again Scott. You should be very proud of your accomplishments!
